Temple of Kel Garas

1. Caravan Stop

This time, the caravan stops in the middle of the day because the oxen are running out of water! You stopped near an oasis where you might find water, though Katriana explains she has not a good relationship with the tribe which guard this oasis. Could you go and ask them if they could allow you to restock your water supplies?

The Badines belonguing to this tribe consider this place a sacred one. Zidane, who also belongs to a Badine tribe can tell you more: none of the Badines deal with this tribe called the Gardians because they are considered as cursed. He can tell you of a story between tribes to explain this curse. As you are the only one available, you must now go and see this tribe by yourself!

Anytime you want, you can have a look at Dashnaya's goods or at Katriana's.

2. The Oasis

This should-be green place is a mess! As soon as you enter it, you can witness a zombies' attack. Of course you can help to defeat those undeads and have a talk with Ali Ibn Musud afterwards.
Expect a long explanation/information/legend/history monologue! In short, the Guardians are guarding an ancient Netherese necromancer turned evil who is supposed to be emprisonned in a tomb. This lich-like character (a mummy actually) named Kel-Garas is gaining strength everyday and you must enter his tomb and destroy his body, retrieve the rod which holds his soul and place it on a Lathander altar in the near-forgotten Morning Lord Temple. One last point: Kel-Garas is a servant of an evil Netherese god named Jergal.
Maybe you can find a good weapon for your quest in Ali's ancestor's crypt.

Before heading for the Crypt or for the Catacombs, you should perhaps have a look around. There are some zombies to clear away, particularily around the Morning Lord Temple, and also on the Catacombs way.

3. The Crypt of Al-Rashid

You should enter this place before trying for the Catacombs of Kel-Garas. You can probably easily defeat the four zombies inside, then have a look at the pilar and try to decipher the old scripting on it. "When evil grows unchecked, then shall one destroy the guardians and prove his worth to wiel the Desert Fury." The four gargoyles which do look like statues, will then turn alive.

When you have defeated them, a small puzzle is awaiting you. Have a good look around. A four by four chessboard on the ground, seven rune stones which you can move around and several signs with a X-cross on them. Got it? Else try here . When you have solved this puzzle, you get 200XP and the sarcophagus opens. Inside it you'll find a very usefull Desert Fury!

4. House of the Morning God

The temple has been completely profaned. Many zombies are roaming about.

5. Temple of Kel Garas

Here you have quite a lot to do, though you don't have to do it all in a hurry. You can exit this temple anytime you wish to get back to the caravan to replenish your supplies or to be healed.

This dungeon won't be easy though, and it is the only way to get through. Let's go!
